Anne Burrell left a suicide note prior to her death, according to police reports.

Anne Burrell left a “suicidal note” dated the morning of her death, a new police report revealed.
The New York Police Department confirmed to People that the note was left in the primary bedroom of Burrell’s Brooklyn, NY, home and was found by an investigator following her death on June 17, 2025.
The investigator also discovered several more “suicidal” journal entries on a bed in the same room, per the police report.

The Food Network chef was found unconscious around 7:50 a.m. at her home, an NYPD spokesperson told Page Six at the time.
Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and pronounced her dead. She was 55.
Two days after Burrell’s death, sources confirmed to The Post that her husband, Stuart Claxton, discovered her body on the shower floor.
